Dank des allgemeinen Shutdowns innerhalb der Coronakrise zeigt das National Theatre zur Zeit ausgewählte Stücke bei Youtube.
Heute Abend geht diese Aktion mit Peter Shaffer’s ‚Amadeus‘ auf die Zielgerade.
Ich habe das Stück 2017 im Rahmen von NTlive im Kino gesehen und fand es recht unterhaltsam. Meinen ausführlichen Eindruck könnt ihr bei Interesse hier nachlesen.

I’m glad they did this. Just wish they had shown The Lehman Trilogy — I would have loved to have seen that one again.

I wish they wouldn’t only show the shows in cinema but also on Youtube for the people without a cinema near them like me!

Or license some of the stuff to the theatre streaming platforms. I’d pay.

@Servetus: After all what DT did I am not a big fan of those and also think YT would reach more people, but yeah if that would be better for the theaters I’d go for that too.

I wasn’t impressed with DT but in the US we have something called „Broadway HD“ and they license a lot of UK things and seem to have a lot more on offer.

@Servetus: Sadly last time I checked this is US only, so no option for me 😦 but I heard a lot of great things about it
