What a lovely thing to do! Sending you and your family lots of good thoughts.

Ein schöner Gedanke! Meine Eltern haben vergangenes Jahr ihren 50. Hochzeitstag gefeiert. Oder wegen des Lockdowns nicht gefeiert.

Herba such beautiful flowers
My parents celebrated 54 years last September before my mum passed away
Bless you and your sister ❤️❤️❤️

@Servetus: Thank you! ❤
I think my mum was really touched when we gave her the flowers and drove afterwards to the cemetery to 'give' Papa his.
And our favourite flowershop owner was happy too because the shop was only able to open again recently due to Corona restrictions and she had a really hard time to cover rent and such. As so many have these days *sigh*

@AequitasEteritas: Danke schön!

There are a lot of businesses around here that are hanging on by a thread, too. We’ll have to do our best to keep them open.

I hope it was a nice day for them and an occasion to remember fondly!?!
Thank you ❤

Herba no she fell and went to the hospital to have hip replacement surgery and went downhill from there 😢😢
But I think of them with your picture here and very nice memories so thank you 😊

@Servetus: Yes. Also no everyone has the means to offer a solution that works during the restrictions are in place. For example the shop where my mother brings her stuff for the dry cleaner (they also do alterations and repairs) can’t afford the online modell for the only way they could serve customers (‚click and collect‘) and I am not sure if they will be able to open again if this takes much longer 😦

I notice this issue affecting my buying patterns, too. We have much less rigid restrictions than you, so except for the first month we have been able to enter most businesses most of the time, but I still find myself preferring to use those with online ordering systems. This has been particularly true with Asian takeout food, I’ve noticed — I usually don’t want to use the phone — and it really made me think about my own prejudices.

@Servetus: Shops aroudn here that haven’t an online odering system of some sorts mostly also don’t do ordering via telephone. But I rather order online too.
