@Michele: It’s maybe the most expensive german tv show up to this date that plays in a very interesting time and place, so I say it’s worth the watch. But it isn’t always able to deliver storywise.

Herba so that begs the question and forgive me if it is a dumb question but do you need a story line to keep you engage as a viewer or is the location music particular actor 😉involved in the series or movie enough to keep your attention ?

@Michele: Mmmmh, for me it can be all of it or only one of it. It depends…
With ‚Babylon Berlin‘ it’s the interesting time setting (Berlin between the two big wars was an interesting place) and some great actors and so I can get over some plot holes.

Yeah I watched a movie last night for a particular actor and he had like 10 minutes of screen time and I thought why is he in this movie? What could possibly have attracted him to a minor role and a plot full of holes.
It was set in U.K. so I was happy about that 😁

@Michele: What movie was it? If you don’t mind me asking.

Herba Una on Netflix. Tough subject matter to write about but it had a lot of execution problems I thought and I wondered why secondary crush ya in this and why Riz Ahmed is in this movie too! Both have done a lot prior to making this movie so I was perplexed

@Michele: Yeah, sometimes it’s hard to understand as an outsider why an actor took a certain role

Spot on. I sat there last night thinking both guys are in minimalist roles. I’m glad secondary crush wore a suit but he looked a bit bored I have to say. Riz was thinking why did my agent talk me into this role! 😂😂
