USA, 1934:

Herba, I’m sorry that this was a dud for you or not up to par. Kudos for you watching it. I would not even attempt that although I like Woody Harrelson as an actor. I confess I’ve never heard of the Bonnie and Clyde actors..

@Michele: Ah well, it hapens sometimes, but thanks!
I have to admitt I am not a big fan of Harrelson, but I like Costner and think Kathy Bates is a good actress too.
The actors who played B&C are unknown which makes sense because they have not much screentime and don’t talk much. I guess the main focus was to find actors who look the part because both are describes as very petite

Herba, see I am more WH over KC (he did some very dick like stuff in the 90’s in his personal life) WH has much better range as an actor than KC does IMO although I really loved Bull Durham.
I saw the original Bonnie and Clyde movie with Faye Dunaway and Jack Nicholson and thought it was pretty good.

Herba did not like my original word so how about he did some uncool stuff in my book in the 90’s in his personal life

@Michele: KC did more movies that I personally like than WH and I don’t like WH’s political views very much which weights heavier than KC cheating on his wife. But that’s all only my opinion.
I can see both Dunaway and Nicholson put those roles up just fine, but I don’t know the movie.

Herba, WH vs KC would be interesting discussion. KC during his heyday in the 90’s was to me an everyman until he cheated. His first wife stood by him when he was a struggling actor in the 80’s (he got cut from the Big Chill movie as Alex the guy who killed himself) and then fame and fortune took over IMO. WH has always stood for what he believed in.. nobody thought he would amount to much from his days on Cheers including me.
They were well matched as B and C. I’m not fans of either of them but they are old school Hollywood for sure. JN I think has retired now?

@Michele: yes, there were rumors that Nicholson is ill and therefor quit acting

Herba, ah I thought he took the route of Gene Hackman who called it quits in 2000 b/c he had done enough.

Herba, oh geez. I hope not. He’s a fixture at Laker games with his son Raymond. Gosh I hope he is just enjoying retirement. Thank you for the heads up. I wondered what happened to him.. I liked him in Something’s Gotta Give with Diane Keaton

Netflix keeps sending me emails about how I should watch this (with which they prove that they have no clue what I prefer to see). I wish there were a Netflix button that let me just erase films with particular actors in them. Harrelson would be high on the list; just seeing his picture gives me a severe allergic reaction (Kathy Bates notwithstanding — why did she have to be in this?).

@Servetus: The button would be very helpful!
No worries, you won’t miss much re Kathy Bates, she hasn’t that much screentime and not much to do in the scenes she is in.
