Trotz David Tennant. Das war zu nervig!

Herba, you sat thru all 8 episodes? I am gonna send you a medal. Let’s just say here Garner was horrible, the writing was terrible (this coming from the creative minds of Girls creators Lena Bigmouth Dunham one of them) and poor David Tennant caught in the middle…

Indeed, poor DT caught in the middle…

I know and I love him normally but he looked miserable here. I got thru half of Ep 1 and Garner as Kathryn is screeching about her Instagram followers and I thought this is just s—t and beyond annoying. Bridget Everett was the shining light in the one scene… stole it right from everyone in my opinion. Sorry!! I’ll shut up now!!

@Michele: *lol* thank you, thank you, thank you!
For me Garner acted well but the character was horrible written

@Michele: Yes, Kathryn Everett was great as Harry, she got a bit more to do in the last two eps and I really liked her in that role.
Why sorry? Comment away!

@Nell: I couldn’t understand why nobody told Kathryn what a bitch she is and that she should shut the f*uck up!

Herba, I like Garner as a person and in Alias tv series she was good but most of her acting roles are the same characters and this Kathryn was just so annoying I wanted to smack her around! Sorry it was so clichéd, like really how is any of this refreshing and clever? How did Tennant agree to this show? Is he accepting everything that comes along or is it b/c HBO series? It better not get renewed for a S2 ugh…

Herba, well I get carried away sometimes (all the time) when I don’t like something so I don’t want to taint your review here with my disdain for the show. But I love your blog posts so I am glad that you saw positive in some er um negative…

Yes. And DT seemed to have liked the costumes. He wore that ugly hat at last weekend’s con… 😂😂 #Schmerzfrei

@Michele: I really wouldn’t call that show refreshing and clever. Maybe merciless in some way…
But I can see why Tennant did it. HBO could have been attractive, Garner is a big name, Durham too and it sure was something else to work on

@Nell: At least in the end he had some kind of revenge on her

Nell, Tennant’s not on Twitter though right? That beard needs some grooming and the fisherman’s hat needs to be chucked!! Thank you for this though!!!

The con was in Arizona and he is still and always promoting the Doctor plus ‚Jessica Jones‘ with Krysten Ritter. He’s doing lots of cons.

@Nell my impressionis he enjoys the interaction with his fans really much and is what we call in German a bit of a ‚Rampensau‘ but I am not following him very closely so I may be wrong

I’d say you’re right. 🤣 He’s not the shy one but he’s not superficial either.

No I wouldn’t call him superficial either. For me his behavior looks like a good mix of open- respectively privateness and he seems to enjoy the interaction with his fanbase
