I really want to see this but right now it’s only available on HBO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tJcmjG0VFA

I don’t usually watch this kind of stuff, but it’s a local story and the reviews have been excellent.

Und vor allem: Hidden Figures!

@Serv: Me too, but sadly no time for reading the book before watching the movie

Herba, I forgot to tell you that I saw Silence. I thought it was a good film, beautiful but very slow; there was too much torture in it and not enough Liam Neeson. Also, the ending is somewhat different from the book so if you are familiar with the (excellent) book, that may trouble you (it troubled me but not enough to get annoyed about it). Also, a lot of my friends who saw it were frustrated about the way the Japanese perspective was shown (will not say more about this for now, but if you write a review I’ll probably have more to say).

@Serv: thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts about ‚Silence‘. I don’t know the book and will not get the chance to read it till march when the movie will hit the cinemas in Germany so no problem

@Serv: Saw your post but wanted to wait with reading till I saw the movie myself – which I did today.
